30th Logistics Group [30th LG]
The 30th Logistics Group provides critical logistical support ensuring the space launch and ICBM operational test capability of the United States is sustained. The group manages and maintains the Western Range assets supporting the West Coast space and missile launches and aircraft tests. It directs the wing performance management, communications, contracting, supply an transportation functions.
The group manages an Air Force and contractor workforce of over 2,000 employees (including over 400 Air Force personnel) executing an annual budget exceeding $60 million, and $3.8 billion in assets.
The Performance Management Division is the hub for most of the Wing's business activities. They provide program business management and quality assurance expertise to numerous mission support contracts and space programs to include: Range Operations and Maintenance Support, Launch Operations Support, Launch Support Services, Transient Alert Maintenance/Aerospace Ground Equipment, Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory, Base Communications, and delegated Space and Missile Center contracts.
