Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian presided over the regular press conference on November 11. A reporter asked: We noted that on the evening of November 10 an automobile explosion occurred in India's capital, New Delhi, causing multiple casualties, and that Indian authorities are currently investigating the incident. What is China's comment on this? Were any Chinese personnel among the casualties?
In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian told Tuesday's press conference that China has taken note of relevant reports regarding the explosion incident in New Delhi, India. According to available information, there were no Chinese casualties.
Lin said that China is shocked by this incident, conveyed condolences to the victims, extended sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased and the injured, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
