- Five Country Ministerial 2023 Communique DHS 29 Jun 2023 -- "We, the Home Affairs, Interior, Security and Immigration Ministers of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States (the 'Five Countries') convened in person, under Canada's chairship, in Wellington, New Zealand on June 27-28, 2023 for the Five Country Ministerial (FCM). The Five Countries stand together in our commitment to promote shared values, and work collaboratively in addressing national and homeland security, and migration challenges. This year's Ministerial discussions focused on the following issues."
- Texas Man Sentenced to Over 13 Years for Attempting to Provide Material Support to ISIS US Dept. of Justice 29 Jun 2023 -- A Houston man was sentenced today to 165 months, the equivalent of 13 years and nine months, in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release for attempting to provide material support to Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization.
- Amendment of the Terrorist Designations of Real IRA and ISIL-Libya US Dept. of State 29 Jun 2023 -- The Department of State has amended the terrorist designations of the Real IRA and ISIL-Libya to reflect new primary names, the New Irish Republican Army and the Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham in Libya, and associated aliases.

- COVID infections still the number one infectious disease in Beijing: weekly report Global Times 29 Jun 2023 -- A total of 2,869 cases of 19 infectious diseases were reported from June 19 to 25 in Beijing with the majority of them being cases of coronavirus, authorities said on Thursday. The number of infections has seen a decline compared with the previous week, despite a significant increase in the influx of people from all over the country during the just-concluded Dragon Boat Festival.
- COVID-19 no longer classified as generally hazardous communicable disease Finnish Government 29 Jun 2023 -- The Government has approved an amendment to the Government Decree on Communicable Diseases by which COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus will no longer be classified as a generally hazardous communicable disease. In future, COVID-19 will be defined as a monitored communicable disease. The amended Decree is scheduled to enter into force on 30 June 2023.
