Health Minister: Iran only producer of COVID-19 vaccine in region

Tehran, IRNA -- The Iranian minister of health said on Monday that Iran is the only producer of COVID-19 vaccines in the region.
Regarding sanctions imposed on Iran during the sanctions era, Bahram Einollahi said that 1,600,000 vaccines were injected each day.
Elaborating on health diplomacy, he said that many regional states request Iranian medicines and equipment.
He added that Iran is ahead of other countries in all health indicators, including polio, tuberculosis, and cholera.
