Anti-Epidemic Work Intensified in North Hwanghae Province

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Songrim City in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is now pushing ahead with the emergency anti-epidemic work in winter season as required by the intensified normal anti-epidemic system.
The party and power organs in the city make all citizens observe the anti-epidemic regulations and order voluntarily.
The city hygienic and anti-epidemic centre has conducted information and education work among the masses to further consolidate their anti-epidemic consciousness and steadily stir up the climate of observing the anti-epidemic rules, with data on the world's anti-epidemic situation and methods of health care and common sense for preventing diseases that may occur in winter.
Health workers and doctors in charge of households are conducting medical examination and hygienic information service in the areas under their charge, awakening and encouraging the hygienic personnel.
The commercial and public catering establishments are disinfecting the parts frequently touched by customers and facilities and equipment as specified in the rules.
The units near rivers are urged to treat any birds and wild animals dead without cause as required by anti-epidemic rules and strictly observe the system of informing relevant organs in time of strange signs.
