Steady Effort Goes into Anti-epidemic Work

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Fishery units in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK direct a big effort to perfecting the winter anti-epidemic work.
The relevant units are doing their best to prevent the outbreak and spread of respiratory diseases while giving detailed assignments of political work to officials and enhancing the responsibility and role of hygienic workers.
They see to it that fishing boats abide by the rules of entry into the sea and thoroughly keep to anti-epidemic regulations during work. Meanwhile, they have established a thorough system of reporting and notifying strange objects and wild birds that are washed ashore.
The hygienic workers are raising the efficiency of information service by combining the global anti-epidemic situation, winter hygienic information and potential deviations and ways to tackle them.
Soho, Hongwon and other fishery stations make sure that fishing boats regularly disinfect decks, cabins and fishing gear and intensify control over the processing and transporting of seafood.
Meanwhile, small-scale fishing and aquiculture units are intensifying the education among fishermen and aquaculture workers to ensure that they observe the rules of mask-wearing, temperature-measuring and sterilization. -0-
