• Taiwan reports 44,880 new COVID-19 cases, 53 deaths CNA 29 Sep 2022 -- Taiwan on Thursday reported 44,880 new COVID-19 infections, including 215 imported cases, and 53 deaths from the disease, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
• Taiwan receives 4th shipment of second-gen COVID-19 vaccine CNA 29 Sep 2022 -- A total of 605,000 doses of the second-generation Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine targeting the original virus from 2020 and the Omicron BA. 1 subvariant arrived in Taiwan early Thursday, the fourth shipment of the vaccine, Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) head Victor Wang (王必勝) announced the same day.
