Epidemic Spread and Treatment Results in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- According to information of the state emergency epidemic prevention headquarters, more than 100 710 fevered persons (about 11 210 more than the previous day), with 98 290 recoveries (about 8 100 less than the previous day) and one death, were reported from 18:00 of May 28 to 18:00 of May 29 throughout the country.

As of 18:00 of May 29 since late April, the total number of fevered persons is over 3 549 590, of which more than 3 360 990 (94.687%) have recovered and at least 188 530 (5.311%) are under medical treatment.

The death toll stands at 70 and the fatality rate is at 0.002 percent. -0-
