• Designating an International ISIS Network of Financial Facilitators US Dept. of State 09 May 2022 -- Coinciding with the 16th meeting of the Counter ISIS Finance Group (CIFG) of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, the United States is designating today five individuals participating in an ISIS network of financial facilitators operating across Indonesia, Syria, and Turkey.
• Treasury Designates Facilitation Network Supporting ISIS Members in Syria US Treasury 09 May 2022 -- Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated a network of five Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) financial facilitators operating across Indonesia, Syria, and Turkey. The five individuals, who are designated today pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13224, as amended, have played a key role in facilitating the travel of extremists to Syria and other areas where ISIS operates.

• Hong Kong continues tracing COVID-19 through sewage surveillance People's Daily 09 May 2022 -- The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government said Sunday that the COVID-19 virus continues to be detected in sewage samples from different areas in Hong Kong, indicating that there may be hidden cases in the premises in these areas.

India

• India's Cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 190.34 Cr India PIB 09 May 2022 -- India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 190.34 Cr (1,90,34,90,396) as per provisional reports till 7 am today. This has been achieved through 2,36,58,273 sessions.
• COVID - 19 Vaccination Update - Day 479 India PIB 09 May 2022 -- India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 190.48 Crore (1,90,48,54,263) today. More than 12 lakh (12,07,787) Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm today. The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports for the day by late tonight.
• Update on COVID-19 Vaccine Availability in States/UTs India PIB 09 May 2022 -- The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country. The nationwide COVID 19 vaccination started on 16th January 2021. The new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced from 21st June 2021. The vaccination drive has been ramped up through availability of more vaccines, advance visibility of vaccine availability to States and UTs for enabling better planning by them, and streamlining the vaccine supply chain.

• Taiwan reports 40,304 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths CNA 09 May 2022 -- Taiwan's single-day COVID-19 cases exceeded 40,000 for the third consecutive day on Monday, with 40,304 new cases and 12 deaths from the disease, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
• Taiwan receives 1.85 million Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine doses CNA 09 May 2022 -- Taiwan received all of the 1.85 million Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine doses for people 12 years and older it had ordered this year on Monday, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said.
• Taiwan invited to second virtual Global COVID-19 Summit: FM CNA 09 May 2022 -- Foreign Minister Joseph Wu (吳釗燮) on Monday said that Taiwan has been invited to attend an upcoming Global COVID-19 Summit organized by the United States.
