His and others' actions sought to stop the transfer of power by disrupting a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.

• COVID - 19 Vaccination Update - Day 474 India PIB 04 May 2022 -- India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 189.60 Crore (1,89,60,56,429) today. More than more than 12 lakh (12,04,711) Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm today. The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports for the day by late tonight.
