UAE Announces 1,538 New COVID-19 Cases, 4 Deaths in Last 24 Hours

Abu Dhabi, February 09, 2022, SPA -- The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), in a statement, announced 1,538 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 862,514, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

MoHAP also announced four deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,273.

The ministry noted that an additional 2,457 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 791,318.
