
Health Spokesman: COVID-19 Cases are Returning to Reassuring Positive Levels

Riyadh, January 30, 2022, SPA -- Assistant Minister of Health and Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said, "We are witnessing the return of COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to more reassuring positive levels", adding that the ministry is following up on the rest of the cases.
Dr. Al-Abdulaali said that the booster dose can be obtained by anyone aged above 16 years and has taken the second dose with three to six months have passed since taking it. He added that a person recovering from the infection can obtain the booster dose immediately after recovering.
He stressed that the number of doses given in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has amounted to more than 56 million, with the number of vaccinated people with two doses exceeding 23.6 million.
