UAE Announces 2,581 New COVID-19 Cases in Last 24 Hours

Abu Dhabi, January 4, 2022 -- The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced 2,581 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 772,189, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
MoHAP also announced one death due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,170.
The ministry noted that an additional 796 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 748,511.
