Taipei, Sept. 30 (CNA) Taiwan reported seven new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, all contracted overseas, and zero deaths from the disease for the third consecutive day, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).

Of the seven imported cases, two are Taiwan nationals, and the others are citizens of Indonesia, India, the Philippines, and Eswatini, the CECC said.

To date, Taiwan has confirmed a total of 16,223 COVID-19 cases, of which 14,417 are domestic infections reported since May 15, when the country first recorded more than 100 cases in a single day.
