Iran receives 10th Russian Sputnik-V Vaccine cargo

Tehran, IRNA -- Iran has taken delivery of the tenth batch of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine "Sputnik-V" amid its nationwide combat against the epidemic.
The tenth shipment of the Russian-made Sputnik vaccine to fight the Covid-19 pandemic arrived at Tehran's International Imam Khomeini Airport on Thursday.
The tenth consignment of the Russian coronavirus vaccine iscomprising 100,000 doses of "Sputnik-V" vaccines made in Russia.
So far, one million doses of "Sputnik-V" vaccines have been delivered from Russia to Iran.
Iran and Russia signed a contract in February 2020, for buying 2 million doses of Sputnik V vaccines, and late last month too, another contract for buying 60 million doses for vaccinating 30 million Iranians was finalized and signed that is scheduled to be sent to Iran from June to December 2021.
