Three Hundred Ninety New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Saudi Arabia, Health Ministry Spokesperson Says

Riyadh, Mar. 09, 2021, SPA -- Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said in a press conference today that 390 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 380,572 , including 2,695 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 515 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, the report added.
Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that 306 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 371,338 cases. Also, five new deaths have been reported, bringing the death tally to 6,539.
The number of people who received the COVID-19 vaccine in the Kingdom reached 1,514,501, Dr. Al-Abdulaali concluded.
