
UAE Announces 2,948 New COVID-19 Cases, 4,189 Recoveries, 12 Deaths in Last 24 Hours

Abu Dhabi, January 31, 2021, SPA -- The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 184,260 additional novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests, over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.
According to WAM, the UAE Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of Covid-19 cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
As part of its intensified testing campaign, the MoHAP announced 2,948 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 303,609.
The MoHAP also announced 12 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the UAE to 850.
The UAE Health Ministry also noted that an additional 4,189 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 276,958.
