Taiwan reports 22 new imported cases of COVID-19

Taipei, Dec. 6 (CNA) Twenty-two new imported cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Taiwan on Sunday, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
With the 22 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has increased to 716 since the pandemic began late last year, the CECC said.
Health Minister Chen Shih-chung (é™³æ™‚ä¸), who heads the CECC, will give details about the new cases at a press conference scheduled for 2 p.m. in the day, the CECC added.
Taiwan has not recorded a domestic infection since April 12, according to CECC data.
