Health Ministry Calls for Adherence to Precautionary Measures, Reports 472 New Confirmed Coronavirus Cases

Riyadh, Sep 25, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health announced in a statement here today that 472 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 332,329 cases, including 12,068 active cases undergoing treatment.

Of these, there are 1,043 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 26 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 4,625.

Meanwhile, as many as 843 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 315,636.

On the other hand, 38,698 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour.

The ministry concluded by calling on everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures and apply social distancing to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and to preserve the public health and safety.
