
Recovery Rate of COVID-19, Exceeds 90%, in Saudi Arabia, says Health Ministry

Riyadh, Aug 18, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health announced that the rate of recoveries from the COVID-19 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has exceeded 90%.
In a statement today, the Ministry indicated that the number of recoverees have reached 272,911, so far, while the number of active cases has stood at 2,4942.
It also affirmed that the supportive health services that the prudent leadership provided, as well as the proactive steps, preventive precautions and health protocols that were applied by the authorities, had a tangible impact in preserving the health and safety of citizens and expatriates alike.
According to an international assessment, the Kingdom has been ranked among the 20 most safe countries from COVID-19, the ministry added, pointing out that the percentage of intensive care beds, has been increased in various hospitals, in all regions of the Kingdom, with the aim of providing the utmost protection and safety for all.
