Health Ministry: 1,389 New COVID-19 Cases, 1,626 New Recoveries Reported, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, August 05, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health announced in a statement here today that 1,389 new confirmed cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 282,824 cases, including 34,490 active cases undergoing treatment.

Of these, there are 1,991 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

The Ministry of Health added that 36 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 3,020.

On the other hand, as many as 1,626 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 245,314.

The total number of latest lab tests done, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was 52,099.
