Ministry of Health: the leadership's unlimited support contributes to increasing intensive care beds during COVID-19 pandemic

Riyadh, July 16, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health confirmed that the preventive measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to deal with COVID-19 , in addition to the unlimited support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince have contributed to increasing the clinical capacity of intensive care by more than 2,800 beds in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Health pointed out that this reflects the keenness of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the safety of citizens and residents and confirms the priority of their health, noting that raising the clinical capacity of intensive care has contributed to providing medical care to patients.
It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health has taken many preventive measures and implemented a number of specific initiatives that have had a tangible impact on successfully dealing with the pandemic, and mitigating its effects on individuals and the society.
