
Bangladesh COVID-19 Cases Cross 100,000 Mark

Dhaka, June 18, 2020, SPA -- Bangladesh today exceeded 100,000 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases as 3803 more people tested positive overnight, National News Agency of Bangladesh reported.
"The tally of infections has surged to 102,292 after 3803 new COVID-19 cases were detected in the past 24 hours," Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Additional Director General Prof Nasima Sultana told a virtual media briefing at the Directorate in the city.
She said 38 more fatalities were reported during the period, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 1343.
