Ministry of Health: 4,919 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Jun 17, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health said in a statement today that 4,919 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 141,234 cases, including 48,481 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 1,859 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.
"The new confirmed cases include 52% Saudi citizens and 48% non-Saudi residents. The females represent 30% of the cases, while the males represent 70%," the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry of Health also said that 39 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 1091.
