Ministry of Health Announces 1581 New Cases of COVID-19, Recovery Cases Exceed 57,000

Riyadh, May 29, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health announced that 1581 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the new cases were reported in many cities and governorates in the Kingdom.
The total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 81,766 cases, including 24,295 active cases and 432 critical cases.
The cases confirmed today represent 59% for non-Saudis and 41% for Saudi nationals.
The number of the new recoveries is 2460, bringing the total number of recoverees to 57,013, adding that the number of the new deaths is 17, bringing the total death toll to 458.
Regarding the lab tests in the Kingdom, new 16,769 lab tests have been conducted, bringing the total tests to date to 787,465.
