India's Coronavirus Cases Pass 112,000

New Delhi, May 21, 2020, SPA -- India's coronavirus cases rose by 5,609 to 112,359 in the past day, according to the country's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Russian News Agency (TASS) reported.

The national death toll increased by 132 to 3,435.

There are currently 63,624 active cases, 45,300 patients have recovered.

India initially announced a lockdown between March 25 and April 14, which has since been extended three times and is expected to remain in place until May 31.
