
Kuwait Reports 17 New Cases of Coronavirus

Kuwait, March 27, 2020, SPA -- The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health reported 17 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of infections to 225.
Official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad stated that five cases were related to travel, four cases for Kuwaitis and one case for an Egyptian expatriate, nine cases were in contact with previously confirmed cases, seven cases for Kuwaitis and two cases for an Iraqi resident and a Sudanese resident, and three cases are subject to epidemiological investigation.
For his part, Kuwaiti Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah announced earlier today that eight cases of Covid 19 have been cured, bringing the total number of similar recoveries in Kuwait to 57.
