Islamabad, Mar 21, 2020, SPA -- Pakistan on Saturday announced the suspension of all international flights for two weeks in order to prevent the further spread of coronavirus in the country, dpa reported.

In a separate announcement, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) cancelled all its international flights until March 28.

The number of coronavirus patients in Pakistan has now reached 534, Health Minister Zafar Mirza said.

He said that three people have died of Covid-19 and around 1.4 million people in the country have been screened so far.

The government of Prime Minister Imran Khan decided against a nationwide lockdown, but has taken a number of steps to control the spread of the virus.
