Chinese mainland reports 3 new imported COVID-19 cases

BEIJING, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese mainland on Thursday reported three new imported cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total number of imported cases to 88, according to the National Health Commission Friday.

Of the three new imported cases, two were reported in Shanghai and one in Beijing, according to the commission.

The commission said it received reports of eight new confirmed cases Thursday on the mainland, including five from Hubei's provincial capital Wuhan.
