Pakistani officials have confirmed that Osama bin Laden's family is expected to be deported from Pakistan early on April 18.
Bin Laden's family -- consisting of three wives, eight children, and one grandchild -- were detained by Pakistani authorities after the Al-Qaeda leader was killed in a raid by U.S. special forces in the northern town of Abbottabad, near Islamabad, in May 2011.
News on the deportation comes after the family completed a brief sentence in detention for illegally entering and residing in Pakistan.
They are expected to be flown to Saudi Arabia.
