Pakistan condemns Delhi Court blast

Islamabad, Sept 8, IRNA -- Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani have condemned bombing outside New Delhi High Court that has led to loss of life and injuries, Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
The bomb outside the Indian High Court in the capital Delhi killed 10 people and injured at least 61, reports said.
“The Pakistani leadership has expressed their deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of the bombing, to the Government and people of India,” a Foreign Ministry statement said.
They have expressed the hope that the perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice.
Indian officials said they were taking seriously an email claim by the extremist group Harkat-ul Jihad al-Islami (Huji) that it planted the bomb.
The US state department says Huji is a terrorist organisation with links to al-Qaeda.
The group has been accused of carrying out attacks in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The leader of Huji, Ilyas Kashmiri, was reportedly killed in a US drone strike in north-western Pakistan in June.
