Breivik had accomplices in Norway and abroad - lawyer
16:41 26/07/2011 MOSCOW, July 26 (RIA Novosti) - A lawyer for Anders Behring Breivik, suspected of killing scores of people in twin attacks in Norway last Friday, said his client confessed to him of having two accomplices in Norway and several more abroad, Sky News reported on Tuesday.
Geir Lippestad also said Breivik was disappointed by the court's decision to hold closed hearings on his case, which, according to the lawyer, fully indicates that his client is insane.
Breivik, 32, is cooperating with police, remains calm and is eating normally, Lippestad said, adding "this whole case indicated that he is insane."
He also said that his client had been taking some medication that kept him in good physical shape.
During a closed hearing at a Norwegian court on Monday, Breivik admitted to carrying out a bombing in Oslo that killed seven people, and a mass shooting at a Labor Party youth camp on the nearby island of Utoya. Police have now revised the death toll from both attacks from 93 to 76.
