Four killed and over 100 injured in Mumbai explosions
18:28 13/07/2011 MOSCOW, July 13 (RIA Novosti) - At least four people were killed and over one hundred people were injured in India's commercial capital Mumbai on Thursday by three explosions in the city's markets, Geo News TV reported.
The explosions took place in Mumbai's Dawar and Zaiveri markets. The blasts damaged nearby buildings including the local opera house.
The cause of the explosions has not yet been confirmed.
Mumbai was struck by terrorists in a huge attack on November 26, 2008, when ten terrorists infiltrated the city by sea from Pakistan and attacked local hotels, railway stations and restaurants, killing 166 people over two days.
