
F-16s Respond to Denver-bound Aircraft

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo., April 7, 2010 – Two F-16 fighters under the direction of North American Aerospace Defense Command intercepted a Denver-bound airliner at about 6:45 p.m. MDT today.
Shortly before the airliner was scheduled to land in Denver from Washington National Airport, a passenger reportedly caused a disturbance, NORAD officials said.
The F-16s intercepted and escorted the aircraft, which landed safely. Local law enforcement officials met the plane in Denver.
