Indian PM expresses concern over growing terrorists infiltration

New Delhi, Mar 27, IRNA – Expressing concern over the growing instances of terrorists infiltrating from across the border, India's Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh said: "The development was worrisome".

"Terrorism and infiltration remain a matter of concern for our government", said Prime Minister while replying to questions on the growing number of encounters in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the recent past after the Defence Investiture Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army chief had Thursday said the long drawn encounter in Kupwara was "definitely an indication of stepped up effort to increase infiltration."
