India hands over Pakistan comprehensive reply

New Delhi, March 13, IRNA -- India on Friday handed over to Pakistan a comprehensive reply to all the 30 questions posed by Pakistan related to terror attacks in Mumbai.
The response was handed over to Pakistan high Commissioner Shahid Malik in New Delhi.
Malik said that the answers will help his country to carry forward the investigations into the Mumbai Attack.
Earlier, briefing the media the Home Minister, P Chidambaram had said that the report provides a solid basis for action against the terrorists involved in horrific attacks.
He said the report is a very comprehensive one and supported by copies, CDs and forensic analysis reports and said the material is enough to take the investigations forward.
Chidambaram said, New Delhi expects Pakistan to take investigations forward quickly and apprehend all the culprits of the Mumbai terror attacks and either hand them over to India for prosecution and punishment or prosecute and punish them in Pakistan itself.
He said the answers provide solid basis for Islamabad to take quick action against the perpetrators of the attack.
