India promises to respond to any information sought by Pakistan

New Delhi, Feb 23, IRNA -- Reiterating the request should come through official channel and not through media, India on Monday promised to respond to any information sought by Pakistan in connection with probe into the Mumbai attacks.
"India will cooperate as and when necessary but ruled out a joint investigation in the Mumbai attack case," said India's External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi while talking to reporters.
Mukherjee was speaking to the media after Pakistan's High Commissioner Shahid Malik met Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon in New Delhi to discuss aspects related to the Mumbai attacks.
