
ELTA Systems Group Awarded $15.4 Million in Contracts for Border Protection Systems

Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. ELTA Systems Group and Subsidiary was recently awarded three contracts from European and South-American countries for Border Protection Systems. The total value of these contracts is $15.4 million.
Protection of homeland borders is a critical priority. Elta Systems Group offers solutions to ensure the detection of illegal activities such as contraband, illegal immigration, drugs smuggling and threats to the public.
Elta’s products operate 24/7, in bad weather and low visibility conditions gathering data and transferring it to a command & control center that creates a situation awareness picture and alerting law enforcement units, in real time, allowing them to respond quickly to threats.
ELTA Systems’ Border Protection Systems were selected since their capabilities proved to be able to create a powerful deterrent and threat eliminator putting the law enforcement units in full control.
