Islamabad, Oct 2, IRNA

Pakistan said on Monday it will take action against the people if their links are proved with the July train bomb blasts in the Indian commercial city of Mumbai.

"If India has some information suggesting links of some people in Pakistan to these blasts, Pakistan will take action and help India," Foreign Office spokesperson Ms. Tasneem Aslam said.

She, however, said, "Instead of making allegations on media, Pakistan expects from India to share solid information so that we could cooperate with them."

In her weekly briefing in Islamabad she described Indian allegations as propaganda and said it is yet as another effort from India to externalize Indian malice to divert attention from indigenous freedom movements inside India.

"These allegations are like earlier ones which were not based on facts and it is only propaganda of Indian media."
To question regarding resumption of Pak-India talks, she hoped that these are likely to be resumed any time after Ramadan.

To yet another question, she said a meeting of Pakistani and Indian officials is expected with neutral expert on Baglihar Dam next week in Paris in which the expert might give his preliminary findings.

She said the final decision on the issue is expected by the end of current year.

Commenting on the report of Amnesty International regarding human rights violations in war on terror, Ms. Tasneem Aslam said people have some rights which may be violated but there are a large number of people whose lives are under threat due to these people and the government has to take action to save the lives of majority of the people.

Regarding delivery of F-16 fighter aircraft, the spokesperson said the matter is under process and it will be completed in due course of time.

Answering a question regarding Pakistan policy on war against terrorism, the spokesperson said, "Our decision to become part of international war was in our national interest that is a collaborated effort and no one is liable to answer to others."

To a question regarding 'Deeni Madaris' reforms, she said, "We have no pressure from any one and we need not clarify our policy." She said there are few Madaris which may be involved in preaching hatred, but the government is committed not to allow such Madaris to operate as it is in country's interest and stability.

Regarding US legislation on Iranian sanctions bill, she said it is the internal issue of the US but Pakistan supports continuity of negotiation process to resolve the issue in a peaceful manner.
