United States Condemns Terrorist Bombings in Bangladesh
State's Sean McCormack also expresses condolences for bombing victims
The U.S. government has condemned the terrorist bombings that went off across Bangladesh August 17, according to a statement issued by State Department Spokesman Sean McCormack.
News reports indicate that two people were killed and more than 100 were injured in the approximately 300 bombings that took place in dozens of cities.

Bombings in Bangladesh
The United States condemns the terrorist bombings that occurred throughout Bangladesh the morning of August 17. We extend our condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives and wish a rapid and full recovery to all those who were injured.
We stand with the Government and people of Bangladesh as they hold to account those responsible for this heinous crime.
