Pakistan said on Thursday that none of its nationals was involved in the terrorist incidents in London and Egypt.
"Pakistan is in the forefront of war against terror and has condemned these incidents," Prime Minister Shauakt Aziz said.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad, Aziz said that the steps taken by the government against terrorism were imperative for Pakistan's security and national interest.
"The decisions were taken on our own and not on the dictates of any one," he said.
About Pak-India ties, Aziz said that the composite dialogue process with India would be pushed forward "despite negative statements emanating from New Delhi".
However, Aziz stressed the inevitable need to resolve all outstanding issues between Pakistan and India in the interest of both sides and durable peace in the region.
Premier Aziz reiterated Pakistan's desire to settle the Kashmir issue in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people who are "key stake-holders" in the dispute.
