VOICED AT:

INTRO: President Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair have condemned the latest terrorist attacks in Istanbul. White House Correspondent Paula Wolfson reports from London they have vowed to stand firm in combating terror.

TEXT: The attacks on British interests in Turkey occurred just hours before President Bush and Prime Minister Blair met in London. Mr. Blair called the bombings an act of evil, and said there will be no compromise with terrorists.

/// BLAIR ACT ///

This is a time to show strength, determination, and complete resolve.

/// END ACT ///

President Bush agreed, saying the latest Istanbul bombings show the true nature of the terrorist threat.

/// BUSH ACT ///

We see their contempt - their utter contempt - for innocent life. They hate freedom. They hate free nations.

/// END ACT ///

Mr. Bush said the United States and Great Britain are united in grief, and united in their resolve to fight and defeat terrorism on all fronts. (SIGNED)
