and FBI Director Robert Mueller on the arrest of suspects in Frankfurt
as part of an ongoing terrorism-related investigation between the FBI

MUELLER REGARDING THE ARREST OF SUSPECTS IN GERMANY
Statement of Attorney General John Ashcroft and FBI Director Robert
Mueller Regarding the Arrest of Suspects in Germany
Attorney General John Ashcroft and FBI Director Robert Mueller today
released the following statement regarding the arrest of suspects in
Frankfurt, Germany:
"Today German authorities arrested a number of suspects in Frankfurt
as part of an ongoing terrorism-related investigation between the FBI
and German law enforcement.
"The United States deeply appreciates the excellent cooperation of the
German government in this matter. We are confident that our continuing
partnerships with our international allies in the War on Terrorism
will bring us ultimate victory."
