CACI Awarded Two Network Services Contracts With Department of Justice

$14 Million Justice Consolidated Network Contracts Support Enhanced, Enterprise-wide Network Communications

Arlington, Va., November 26, 2001 — CACI International Inc (NASDAQ:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded two network services contracts with the Department of Justice (DOJ) in support of the Justice Consolidated Network (JCN). The $3 million JCN Implementation Services contract, with a duration of one base year and two option years, and the $11 million JCN Sustaining Engineering Support contract, for one base year and four option years, were awarded through the General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule. The awards expand both the scope and value of CACI's JCN work, and enable CACI, which has supported the JCN since its inception in 1998, to continue assisting DOJ in building an enterprise-wide architecture for enhanced network communications.

The objective of the JCN, one of the largest civilian networks in the federal government, is to increase information-sharing and interoperability among DOJ's litigating divisions and law enforcement agencies. The JCN carries mission-critical information as well as administrative data for day-to-day operations. Some 700 DOJ locations are already part of the system, with more than 1,300 additional legacy network locations scheduled for transition.

Under the JCN Implementation Services contract, CACI will transition these legacy networks to the JCN. This work includes designing network nodes, identifying the necessary telecommunications services and equipment, reengineering legacy systems, and ensuring overall successful implementation. At the same time, under the JCN Sustaining Engineering Support contract, CACI will perform the necessary network architecture and engineering services to sustain the JCN as it develops. This includes ensuring the continued security and efficiency of data transmissions.

Ken Johnson, CACI's President of U.S. Operations, said, "CACI brings continuity of operations and top technical expertise to the Justice Consolidated Network. Our proficiency in high-end telecommunications engineering and secure network architecture will help DOJ organizations share both engineering and network operating services, thereby enhancing overall efficiency and operations."

According to CACI Chairman and CEO Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, "As CACI continues to expand our network services capabilities, we are proud to help the Department of Justice achieve its goal of a comprehensive network telecommunications system. We've carefully developed the services and expertise of our people so we can personally engage with DOJ, forming a long-term partnership that delivers custom solutions for their precise needs."
