Lockheed Martin Corporation Clarifies Viisage Technologies Relationship
BETHESDA, MD, March 20th, 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) today clarified the business relationship it holds with Viisage Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: VISG). Contrary to a Viisage news release dated March 17, 2000, Lockheed Martin has not entered into a technology partnership to pursue biometrics opportunities. Currently, the two companies are engaged in discussions that potentially could lead to a joint pursuit of business at some future time.
