FY 2007 Homeland Security Budget
President George W. Bush signed the Fiscal Year 2007 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill that helped to fund the Department of Homeland Security and allowed it to continue its mission of safeguarding the nation. The bill allowed DHS to make significant progress in every aspect of the department's mission, but particularly in three critical areas: improving border security, enhancing chemical security, and strengthening FEMA.
This is the Department of Homeland Security's Performance Budget. It dem onstrates the performance levels associated with the FY 2007 President's Budget and im plementation of the first year of the Department's Future Years Homeland Security Program, FY 2007 to FY 2011.
