François Boo is an Associate at GlobalSecurity.org, responsible for online content development and management, as well as defense and security research and analysis.

Prior to joining GlobalSecurity.org, Boo served in the French military for the Paris-based Centre des Hautes Etudes de l'Armement. François provided administrative and organizational support in the running of research and training sessions for mid-to-high level senior European managers working within the field of armaments.

François holds a Masters Degree (D.E.A.) in Political Studies with an emphasis in International Relations from the Institut D'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po), France. He also received a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies from the Department of International Politics at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom.

He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations and a concentration in Business.
