The imagery below was taken by the DigitalGlobe Quickbird satellite. It shows a portion of the Southwest coast of Sri Lanka, near Kalutara, and was taken on January 1, 2004. Visible in the image is the beach along with what appears to be a tourist resort, equipped with a swimming pool.
