Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I was pleased to meet with my Czech friend Jan Lipavsky and sincerely thank him for his personal engagement and leadership.
Throughout the years of Russia's full-scale invasion, Minister Lipavsky has proven to be Ukraine's true friend and a strong voice for truth, justice, and freedom.
I conveyed our gratitude for Czechia'a steadfast support — from the ammunition initiative and training of Ukrainian service members, including F-16 pilots, to strong advocacy for Ukraine's EU future, the use of frozen Russian assets, and hospitality toward our people.
We shared perspectives on current momentum in peace efforts, our expectations of the upcoming European Council on December 19th, and the future of Europe's security architecture."
