FM reiterates China never provides lethal weapons to conflict party in response to claim of China-produced rocket system on Ukraine battlefield

When asked to comment on claims that China-produced weapons appeared in Russian hands as Ukraine defense force earlier claimed that a set of China-produced Type-63 multiple-launch rocket system used by Russian military was destroyed in Ukraine and whether China will investigate how these weapons appeared on Ukrainian battlefield as known by all that China does not provide military support to Russia, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated at a press conference on Friday that "I am not aware of the situation you mentioned," Beijing Daily reported.
"However, I would like to emphasize that China has never provided lethal weapons to either party in the conflict and has strictly controlled dual-use items," Mao said.
